然而,就在我們的生活é€æ¼¸æ¢å¾©æ£å¸¸ï¼Œç”šè‡³æ¯”以往更充實時,心ä¸å»å˜ç•™ä¸€å¡Šæ°¸é 無法彌補的傷痛。在這兩年ä¸ï¼Œæˆ‘們失去了幾ä½è¦ªäººå’Œæœ‹å‹ã€‚我們後悔在永别之å‰ï¼Œæ²¡æœ‰æ©Ÿæœƒèˆ‡ä»–們多說幾å¥è©±ï¼Œå¤šè¦‹å¹¾æ¬¡é¢ã€‚

After two years of self-isolation, we may have finally developed a certain kind of antibody against COVID-19 within our mentality. Armed with an unknown sense of comfort, we remove our masks, dine in restaurants, board the airplanes, and attend many activities. We resume our interactions with old friends and make new ones.
Still, while our joyfulness improves towards and beyond the pre-covid level, there's a certain pain in our hearts that cannot be eased. During those two years, we lost several loved ones. We regret not to be with them more often before their passing. Perhaps, we can learn one thing or two from such sorrow. In the future, we should travel more to see family members from afar, chat with friends often, and remember to answer their emails. We wish you a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
