¶MVNO（仮想移動体通信事業者）

Mobile Virtual Network Operatorの略。

携帯電話やPHSなどの物理的な移動体回線網を自社では持たず、実際に保有する他の移動体通信事業者（携帯電話事業者等）から借りて（或いは再販を受けて）自社ブランドで移動体通信サービスを行う事業者のこと。

A mobile virtual network operator (MVNO) is a wireless communications services provider that does not own the wireless network infrastructure over which it provides services to its customers. An MVNO enters into a business agreement with a mobile network operator to obtain bulk access to network services at wholesale rates, then sets retail prices independently.[1] An MVNO may use its own customer service, billing support systems, marketing, and sales personnel, or it could employ the services of a mobile virtual network enabler (MVNE)
